Through our life living discipleship program we desire to provide a few trainings on different sets of skills that can be use throughout life and help the person to be an influence to others around.

PRAY
Worship
Prayer is the lifeline of our faith, connecting us directly to the heart of God. As a community of believers in Virginia Beach, we are called to approach Him with boldness and humility, pouring out our thanksgivings, confessions, and requests. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6 to “not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Through prayer, we align our will with His, find peace in storms, and experience His power transforming lives, drawing us closer as a church family committed to seeking Him first in all things.
LISTEN
Training
Listening to God is the quiet discipline that follows our prayers, requiring us to still our hearts and tune our ears to His voice. In the busyness of life here in Virginia Beach, we must create space to hear Him speak through Scripture, the Holy Spirit’s gentle prompting, and even the counsel of fellow believers. As James 1:19 encourages, “Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak.” True listening opens us to divine wisdom, corrects our paths, and deepens our intimacy with the Lord, allowing His guidance to shape our decisions and foster unity within our church body.
OBEy
Outreach
Obedience is the fruitful response to God’s voice, demonstrating our love and trust in Him. When we hear His instructions, we are called to act without delay, knowing that blessing follows surrender. Jesus Himself said in John 14:15, “If you love me, keep my commands.” In our Virginia Beach community, obedience means living out His truth in our daily lives—loving others, serving humbly, and stepping out in faith. It is through joyful obedience that we experience freedom, grow in maturity, and become effective witnesses, glorifying God as a church that not only hears but wholeheartedly follows Him.
